Words of gratitude

Here are sincere testimonials from people who entrusted me with their stories. Their words confirm that change is possible and inspire a new path. I am grateful to every client for the opportunity to be part of their transformation.

When I first came to Yulia, I was a shadow of myself. My world had shrunk to the size of an apartment because I was afraid to go outside. It felt like every glance from a passerby was judgment directed at me. I didn’t just dislike myself — I couldn’t perceive myself as an adult, fully functioning person. Everything I did, I completely devalued, and any attention towards me felt like a heavy ordeal and an inner struggle.

Today, after almost 2.5 years of therapy with Yulia, I write this review with a smile. No, the past hasn’t disappeared without a trace — it was, is, and will be part of me. But the most important thing is that I know how to deal with it without pain, because Yulia gave me all the keys and tools for this. I have stepped back out into the world, and now I look with interest into the eyes of passersby, because I already know a little more about them than they do themselves😋

Yulia Gotvart is not just a specialist with a diploma (although she has three of them, just FYI😂). She is a person with incredible sensitivity and a gift for hearing exactly what lies behind your words. Her warmth and kindness create such a safe space (it immediately reminds me of a heavy down blanket at my grandmother’s house in the village 🥰), where you can be absolutely anyone, and most importantly, you will be understood and accepted. And do you know what else is important? Her inner beauty is reflected both in her approach to work and in herself — being with her makes you want to be better!

If you are currently at a point where it seems there is no way out, where you feel “not good enough” for someone or even for yourself, or where fear paralyzes you — do not be afraid to take this step. There is a phrase from my favorite movie, Harry Potter: “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” For me, that light is Yulia Gotvart❤️

“From fear to freedom”, Valeria Bobrova

Yulia and I have been working together for 2.5 years, and this is the best investment in myself I’ve ever made. For me, it’s important that therapy is not just a monologue, but a living dialogue between two engaged individuals. Yulia is highly erudite, which allows her to look at situations from different angles, find non-obvious connections, and speak my language.

Her strength lies in her ability to sensitively highlight what is happening within me. She doesn’t just listen; she helps structure the chaos of thoughts and emotions, guiding the dialogue in the right direction so that I arrive at important conclusions myself. It is truly safe to share any emotional life events with her — from work troubles to deeply personal experiences. Yulia is an excellent specialist whom you can trust with your deepest secrets and be confident that you will be understood.

Aleksandr Rabchinsky

I have been in therapy for 3.5 years. And I believe that the best review of a psychologist’s work is the client’s result.

When I came to Yulia, I was:

  • in an abusive relationship with someone I was afraid of
  • stuck in a job I hated
  • with self-esteem that was below rock bottom
  • and burdened by chronic feelings of guilt and shame.

And at the same time, I tried to be bold and “feisty”.

And so we came up with a metaphor for my journey. At first, I was literally crawling out of a toxic swamp. Then I walked through a forest, through fog, along some unclear path. Most of all, the unknown was terrifying. And Yulia was like sitting somewhere nearby in the bushes, shining a flashlight on the path.

Now, according to our metaphor, I have already arrived in the city, walked around the market, wandered everywhere. And I am heading towards the stage in the city center, from which I will loudly declare myself.

Spoiler: I left that job. I got out of that relationship. I radically changed my field of activity. I learned to say “no” and defend my boundaries.

And also, for the first time, I know myself. Who I am and what I am capable of. Her description says “warm psychologist”. And that is the first thing I felt being with her. Warmth and safety. I trusted her, and this was my best choice!

Sometimes all you need is one person with a flashlight while you are crawling out of your swamp.
